MEDICARE AND THE ACA

I’m on Medicare due to my disability. I found it utterly useless the first year as it has a premium, a co-pay, and a deductible. I watched the premiums come out of my Disability check, but I simply couldn’t afford to use it.

Then, switched to an Advantage plan and have been very happy with it.

OBAMA-CARE… The Affordable Care Act is, frankly, not very affordable for those who need it most. And the assorted deductibles, co-pays, and premiums mean many poor people can’t afford to use it.

As the father of a Type 1 Diabetic, I know how important it is for insulin to be affordable. It’s a matter of life and death.

And so it is with many other medicines, surgeries, and procedures. Every American citizen deserves world class medical care without losing their home, their retirement, or their dignity.

I support universal healthcare and it should include dental, vision, hearing, and reproductive health.

Medicare For All would save $450 billion in health care costs and 68,000 lives per year.
